Comments: This is a wonderful art print by Gustav Klimt. His landscapes are fabulous! I wish it weren't wound so tight in the mailing tube though. I had to really work to get it out of the tube and made little dents on the sides of the print. (awwwww). Otherwise, it looks fantastic, it really does....

Comments: Good print of an amazing painting, not fantastic quality but then not a fantastic price, certainly looks a lot better than what it cost. Would definitely buy again. At 1.4kg a light picture which I have hanging from one of those self-adhesive picture hooks (rented flat, not allowed to drive a nail in).

Comments: Gustav Klimt is really well known for his painting, "The Kiss." I never knew (until looking at AllPosters) that he painted things like this too--this lovely forest of beech trees.

Comments: OK, I will repead myself; the poster under the glass is wrinkled. Service as always was great.

Product InformationThis art print displays sharp, vivid images with a high degree of color accuracy. A member of the versatile family of art prints, this high-quality reproduction represents the best of both worlds: quality and affordability. Art prints are created on paper similar to that of a postcard or greeting card using an offset lithography press. About the ArtistAustrian iconoclast Gustav Klimt (1862 – 1918) triumphed over childhood poverty to significantly influence the Viennese Secession and Art Nouveau movement. Klimt’s elaborate, explicitly sensual works expressed themes of regeneration, love and death, and incorporated Egyptian, Classical Greek, Byzantine and Medieval styles. Klimt also utilized symbols representing art’s liberation from traditional culture. Laying the groundwork for Art Deco and Modernism, Klimt’s creative influence can still be seen in today’s art, decorations and jewelry. © AllPosters
